We feel so fortunate that our son was able to attend Helen’s Daycare. In his four years at Helen’s, she provided the necessary structure and boundaries in a loving, kind, and patient way, allowing him to thrive. Helen not only watches the kids in her charge; she sincerely cares for each and every child.
Throughout our son's time at Helen's, Helen kept us well informed. We particularly loved receiving photos of our son during the day, which Helen sent frequently. Helen also recommended specific activities our son may be interested in and directed us to helpful resources that may assist in certain challenges.
We truly appreciated all of the projects our son participated in, and the crafts he brought home. He loved participating in circle time, learning about the caterpillar’s transformation during the spring, water play in the summers, and making our Christmas presents during the winter. It was so fun to see how his art evolved over time! We, including our son, love Helen and are so thankful for her guidance and care.

Helen is truly the best daycare provider we could have ever found. Our two boys both went to Helen starting at around 6 months. Helen structures her daycare similar to a preschool setting but keeps everything age appropriate for all her kiddos.
Helen is always doing projects, circle time, and many other creative learning activities with the kids. The gifts made by Helen and the kids for holidays were always amazing and our family loved receiving the “friends” photo album at the end of the year.
Helen is affectionate, knowledgeable, patient, kind and still ensures the kids follow rules and respect her. I never think twice about dropping my boys off for the day. I know they will not only be safe and happy but also learn to socialize appropriately with others and build skills and concepts they will need once starting school.
We loved having Helen’s help to work through important milestones such as dropping naps or potty training. She also was great at communicating with us so we were all on the same page regarding any minor behaviors that popped up.

Helen's Daycare! Where do I even start?! There just aren't enough words to describe her and how thankful I am to have found her. This woman is Amazing! From her assistant to the whole set up, and her amazing family, I just knew my son was going to do great here! We searched high and low for a place I could safely leave my son at. I came across Helen's Daycare and let me tell you we hit the "Jackpot"! From the moment we met her, saw her set up we knew this would be the place! Right away we could tell this wasn't just a job for her, we could tell she had her heart in her business. Her structure and her kindness just says it all! We truly have nothing but positive things to say about Helen’s Daycare! Our daughter started at Helen’s when she was just under 2 years old and stayed until she started Kindergarten 4 years later. Having come from using daycare centers in downtown Sacramento, we immediately noticed how warm, inviting, and personal Helen’s in-home program felt compared to larger corporate-type operations. Helen and her team are welcoming, friendly, caring, and very capable. In addition to the daycare being a safe and clean environment, they provided structured daily routines that included creative activities, many options for fun and play, preschool-like learning opportunities, and plenty of time and encouragement for social and behavioral skill building. Helen was great about keeping us informed about our daughter’s time with her, whether that was through daily pictures and text messages or during drop off and pick up conversations. We always felt like we knew what was going on, that our child was safe, and that Helen truly cared about our daughter as an individual.

Helen’s Daycare has been so much more than we could have asked for! Our daughter started at Helen’s at 3 months old and stayed until the day before she started Kindergarten! She learned so much as she grew up at Helen’s that there was no need to transition to a traditional preschool because Helen’s had a daily curriculum that more than prepared our daughter for kindergarten. Everyone at Helen’s genuinely put such care in teaching our daughter (and all the kids) everything from minding her manners as baby to reading and writing before starting school and so much in between. The hands-on activities, the friendships, and the amazing staff makes this place one-of-a-kind. Our daughter continues to have fond memories because of all her experiences there and we are so grateful we found such a wonderful daycare for our family.

Helen’s Daycare is simply amazing! Both of our boys went to Helen’s from a young age (14 months and 16 weeks, respectively) and stayed until they were preschool age. Both had wonderful experiences with Helen and her staff. Not only were they cared for throughout the day, but they also learned so much during their time there, which prepared them for preschool.
They were taught letters, numbers, colors, shapes and so much more and were always bringing home great art projects, including special gifts for us around special holidays. We always looked forward to the annual yearbook, which showed the kids dressing up for Halloween, celebrating the various holidays and birthdays throughout the year, and enjoying the fun water play during the Summer.
Helen and her staff take the time to help each individual child at their age and development level and do a great job of teaching manners, sharing, and how to be a kind friend. Helen has a special way of including all of the kids, regardless of age, in circle time, nap time, learning time and play time and for the almost eight years we were at Helen’s, we knew our boys were cared for, loved, and were having a great experience. Add in the convenient drop-off and pick-up hours and nutritious meals and you can’t find a better daycare than Helen’s.
We will always be grateful that we found Helen and that both of our boys had the opportunity to be in her care. When we would share with our family and friends all of the things our boys got to do and all of the great ways Helen and her staffed cared for our boys, they could not believe we were so fortunate to find such a wonderful place. Helen, her staff and her family, were a big part of our boys’ childhood and we would recommend Helen’s to anyone!

Helens daycare isn’t just an ordinary daycare. Helen takes the time to learn what makes each child grow. We found Helens daycare when our son was 2 years old. He had been through speech therapy & the daycare he was in claimed they didn’t have the means to care for a “special needs” child. When we found Helen our son blossomed! It wasn’t our son that needed to change, it was his environment. He opened up & began to love learning new things. His vocabulary blossomed & the speech therapy was no longer needed. Helen provided a place for our son to grow into the smart confident young man he is today. She was the best thing for Landon providing structure, daily encouragement and a learning environment that he thrived in. When we were looking for a daycare for our daughter, this was the only place where she responded positively right away - wanting to explore and even going to Helen to be picked up (she had not done that anywhere else). The care, dedication, and patience she exhibits towards the children are exceptional, and reflect the values she instills in the kids on a daily basis. A typical day at Helen's includes nature walks, arts and crafts, and exuberantly fun water play on hot days. All of these combine to make for such a great day that I literally have to drag my son away at the end of the day.
